Quantum computing technologies

Quantum computing technologies utilise a variety of physical systems in order to process information using fundamental laws of quantum mechanics – which has enabled the invention of algorithms with characteristics and performance superior to digital alternatives. Of all the technological alternatives for building a quantum computer, devices based on superconducting circuits have matured to the point where off-the-shelf products of proven interoperability with more traditional high-performance computing architectures can be integrated.
